If you are a lucky Enfocus Switch Licence Owner, you know some flows can get very complex. Of course you probably tackled it eventually stacking branches and commands or developing a Script. But did you think of looking at Enfocus AppStore first?
Not every single Switch User knows about Enfocus AppStore. However some resources are really life savers and could really ease your daily work. Let us introduce you a configurator that was really helpful to solve our client request.
The request
Our client’s Web-to-Print platform generates a jobs folder for every incoming order. Problem is that there is also an useless txt file we want to get rid of.

One could easily ungroup jobs, sort files and remove txt files. But if we do so, Switch will no longer be able to mount jobs. Unless of course we take the number of files into account, decreasing total by one and so on…Well at some points, every road leads to Rome but we wanted to take a shortcut and use an app from Enfocus AppStore.
Grab an app
First, get to the Enfocus AppStore using the url https://www.enfocus.com/en/appstore/overview or by clicking on the “Go to Enfocus AppStore” at the bottom right of the Configurators panel.

Once page is loaded, you can see the whole catalog of apps. Some are paid for, some are free. Some are done by third-parties, some are provided by the software editor itself.

We are interested in the app called “Folder Apps”. That’s a bundle of apps for files and folders management. To download and use them, click on the “Folder Apps” application.

Click on “Get it now”. Note that you will need an Enfocus ID and a valid Switch Licence. Achieve procedure by clicking on “Start free app”

Once that done, don’t expect an usual download. Everything happens behind the curtains. Just sync your Switch application and you apps will appear in your configurators panel.

Delete Files in detail
To solve our issue, we will use the “Delete Files” app within our Switch flow. Let’s have a closer look at its properties.

You can choose the type of files to be kept or removed. Here we pick “Keep files” and select appropriate types.
Demonstration
Once folder reaches the hotfolder, it does contain the txt file we want to get rid of. Once it gets through the “Delete files” app, the txt file is removed as expected. Then job can keep moving forward without troubles.
Conclusion
Enfocus AppStore is a Gold Mine. Many apps are so useful. Don’t reinvent the wheel if you can get a paid-for or free app. Save time and efforts. Don’t find what you need? Feel free to ask! We are experts at developing such elements and will be pleased to look at your requirements.
